Hey NO MORE, welcome to A Sustainable Closet! Happy to have you here, tell our readers about your brand, who are you?

Hello, A Sustainable Closet! We're thrilled to be a part of your journey. We are NO MORE, a sustainable jewellery brand born in 2017 through the shared vision of two close friends, Goda and Gintvile. Our brand thrives on the passion to create timeless, top-quality pieces while staying firmly committed to sustainability. We stand against mass production and the fast fashion industry. Instead, we meticulously handcraft each jewellery item in our Vilnius studio, placing a strong emphasis on the principles of slow fashion.

Our core values are:

Handcrafting: We meticulously handcrafted each piece with attention to detail.

Sustainability: We prioritize environmental and social responsibility throughout our production process.

Everlasting: We focus on timeless designs rather than chasing seasonal trends

How and where are the beautiful pieces of jewellery produced, who are your workers?

At NO MORE, we produce our jewellery with a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Our designs are rooted in the principles of slow fashion, and each piece of jewellery is meticulously handcrafted by skilled jewellers in our small studio located in Vilnius. We also collaborate with individual artisans who share our passion for creating exceptional pieces.

Our team firmly believes that environmental and social responsibility is not just an option but an obligation. It has always been a part of our DNA, even before we formally established NO MORE. This core value is deeply integrated into every step of our journey. Furthermore, we believe that all of us can make a difference and we try to do our best in our manufacturing processes, logistics, and a day in the office and out. As a business run by women, we also try to make a difference by participating in different women empowerment and support programs as much as we can.

Where do you source the metals from?

We are deeply committed to the quality and integrity of our jewellery. We source our metals exclusively from reputable suppliers, ensuring the highest standards are met. Our materials consist of the highest purity sterling silver 925 and gold with a minimum purity of 18K.

Moreover, quality assurance is paramount to us. To ensure we uphold our core values, each piece of jewellery undergoes a rigorous triple-check process, with different team members involved at various stages of the jewellery-making process. Additionally, all our pieces are hallmarked by the Assay agency and stamped with our brand's quality mark

Where on the planet are your customers based?

Our valued customers are primarily based in Europe, but we are thrilled to have a global reach. We proudly ship our jewelry to various corners of the world, including the USA, Indonesia, Japan, and many more. Our mission to promote sustainable and timeless fashion resonates with individuals worldwide, making our customer base diverse and widespread.

Where do you find inspiration for your unique designs?

Our inspiration for unique designs springs from a commitment to timelessness and sustainability. Our designs transcend fleeting trends and prioritize durability. Rooted in a timeless aesthetic of modern minimalism, occasionally infused with a touch of drama when required. This core design philosophy empowers our customers to wear each piece individually or mix and match for added style and flair. We firmly believe that the more pieces you adorn, the more drama you can curate, allowing our customers to express their individuality while embracing the enduring beauty of our jewellery

What have been and are the major challenges of starting NO MORE?

The most significant challenge we faced when launching our brand was selecting the perfect name for it, however, after much deliberation, we settled on 'NO MORE ' to reflect our commitment to breaking away from mass-produced accessories and embracing a more sustainable and meaningful approach to fashion.

What has been and is the largest gain?

There have been quite a few, but what comes to mind right away is the ability to foster creativity and artistic expression. Witnessing our jewellery out in the world, and recognizing it on individuals in their everyday lives, is a truly rewarding experience. Moreover, the journey of building a brand that we love has imparted invaluable lessons in resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying true to our values. This venture has reinforced our commitment to crafting meaningful, sustainable jewellery that resonates with our customers and they choose to have our jewellery with them on their everyday ventures.

What do you think needs to change in the jewellery industry to make it more sustainable?

To usher in a more sustainable era for the jewellery industry, pivotal changes must take place. Primarily, a substantial transition towards the utilization of reusable and sustainable materials is imperative. Many of the conventional materials used in fast fashion jewellery fall short in sustainability, necessitating a transformation in this regard.

Secondly, there must be a paradigm shift in consumer consciousness. Prioritizing timeless designs over fleeting trends is essential. By choosing enduring pieces, consumers can contribute significantly to reducing the industry's environmental footprint.

In summary, forging a sustainable path for the jewellery industry necessitates a comprehensive transformation encompassing materials, practices, and consumer choices. This shift aims to minimize the industry's impact on the environment while preserving the enduring beauty and craftsmanship that jewellery represents

What's up next, do you have anything fun to share with our readers?

In our creative pipeline, we're brewing up some exciting jewellery designs, and they're almost ready for their grand debut. But here's the twist – we like to keep things small and sustainable. Instead of overwhelming you with a massive collection of products, we prefer to introduce just a handful of carefully crafted pieces at a time, and we make sure there's only a limited stock available.

Here's how it works: if a product strikes a chord with you, our wonderful customers, it earns a permanent spot in our collection. But if a piece doesn't quite find its groove, we bid it farewell gracefully. The best part? No leftover stock, no waste. This approach embodies our commitment to sustainability and our belief in creating jewellery that truly matters.
