Upcycled Workwear that becomes Fashion

We have mentioned them before and here we are again, REMAKE Stockholm just keeps inspiring us. With designer Marie Teike at the helm, Remake Sthlm, Stockholm Stadsmission’s clothing brand, launches an exclusive clothing collection produced using materials from used workwear from the leading workwear producer Fristads.

The textile materials from Fristads have been produced to be durable from the very beginning serving workers with all kinds of crafty occupations. The function to the fashion collection portray and submits a broad and bold expression that is the result of hard creative work that has resulted in a number of garments that REMAKE can now be proud of and integrate into their design portfolio.

The collaboration has been both important and inspiring for REMAKE. To use and experiment with a new type of clothing segment, with sturdy and fun materials, has given them a great scope to demonstrate the potential to extend the life of good fabrics by changing the shape of the garments from their original form.

The collection will be sold for a limited period at Stockholms Stadsmission’s store at Hornsgatan 58 in the Swedish capital and via Remake Sthlm's digital channels.
